We Day Champions

What a night!  After some fairly intense planning the grade 12 concert band was awarded their night at the school for winning the We Day challenge.  Thirty Three brave souls along with Mr. Edwards, Mrs. Palmer and Mrs. Weddall managed to stay awake from 9:00 p.m. to 8:30 a.m.

The night started with some impromptu interpretive dance in on the stage and then into our eating contest.

Participants were paired randomly and then were tasked with eating one pudding cup and a doughnut as fast as possible. The twist was that the "eaters" could not use their own hands, they had to use their partners.  The partners could not see the "eater" and had to guess where their mouth was.   I think I will let the photos tell the rest of that story.

From there we watched some movies, and made some pop corn.

After a rousing game of sardines that had people running through the school in the dark trying to find the mystery ghost hiding in the girls washroom.... sorta like looking for Moaning Myrtle.... without the moaning.

What was left.... breakfast.  We made each-other Pancakes.

In the end we all had some laughs and after a little bit of tiding up we were ready to crawl back into our beds.

Here we are all tuckered out after a night of giggling and silliness.
