Manitoba is having a gold-letter day at the 2015 Canada Winter Games.
Tyson Langelaar captured this province’s third gold medal at 2015 Canada Winter Games event in British Columbia. Langelaar broke away from the pack with 1.5 laps to go in his long-track speedskating event (mass start) in Fort St. John, and edged a skater from Quebec for the gold.

Lincoln Love

On Monday February 2nd, students from the Grade 8 concert band @ Lincoln travelled to Westwood to take part in a workshop put on by Mr. Edwards and his Symphonic Band. The day was broken up into sectionals and full band rehearsals. To see the Westwood grade 11 and 12 students teaching the grade 8’s in the sectionals was incredible. They acted in a very professional manor and we believe both Lincoln students and Westwood students learned a great deal. We also took part in a mass band rehearsal at the end of the morning, which was nothing short of amazing. We ended the morning with a pizza lunch in the cafeteria and again to see the interactions between Westwood and Lincoln was very powerful.

Lincoln has posted a great article with some fantastic photos on their blog.  Read all about it here - Lincoln Love
